This Top Load Washer Washplate is located in the bottom of the spin basket and turns back and forth to fully circulate laundry through the water during the wash cycle. If your washer isn’t spinning properly and begins making an unusual noise, replacing this part may allevaite these issues. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies.
