This Front Load Washer Door Boot Seal is a part that contains the water in between the tub and the front panel of your front-load washer. If your current seal is damaged and leaking water, replacing the door boot seal may alleviate this issue. Note that overloading the washer is the most common cause for a damaged or torn door boot. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off your hot and cold water supplies.
