This Front Load Washer Door Boot Seal is a part that safely contains the water in between the tub and the front panel of your front-load washer. If your current door bellow is damaged and leaking water, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Note that overloading the washer is the most common cause for a damaged or torn door boot. This part is gray in color and designed to be used specifically with stainless steel models. Replacing this seal will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off your hot and cold water supplies.
