The only difference between the high limit thermostat and the operating thermostat is their opening and closing temperatures. If your dryer won’t heat, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dryer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the washing machine before installing this part. Helpful Tip: This a replacement part may look different than the original thermostat in your appliance, but will still install and operate the same.
