This Disposer Splash Guard is made of durable black plastic and is used to keep debris from exiting the disposal during the grinding process. This splash guard seals the disposer to the mounting flange. This accessory easily replaces a torn or damaged guard and is compatible with many standard in-sink disposal assemblies; check your model for compatibility. Installing this accessory will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the disposal and novice repair experience.
