The Combination Washer Timer controls the appliance’s wash cycle operations, including filling, soaking, washing, spinning and rinsing. If your washer is no longer progressing properly through each cycle, you may need to replace the assembly with this item. Note that this issue is often misdiagnosed; refer to the Repair Help section on the Whirlpool Parts website for additional repair information. This part includes (2) installation screws; additional screws are sold separately (item WP3400064). Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the combination washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
