The Electric Range Radiant Element is a 6” D element that supplies heat to the cooking area on top of the range. Elements are sold separately. This surface element can be used on either the left or right side of the cooktop and features a limiter. Note that a multimeter (item 964740) can be used to test for continuity to determine if the existing element is defective and requires replacement. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the range and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
