This Top Load Washer Washplate is located in the bottom of the spin basket and turns back and forth to circulate laundry through the water during the wash cycle. If your washer isn’t spinning properly and begins making an unusual noise, the washplate may need to be replaced. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to turn off the hot and cold water supplies.
