The Top Load Washer Timer controls the appliance’s wash cycle operations, including filling, soaking, washing, spinning and rinsing. If your washer is no longer progressing properly through each cycle, you may need to replace the assembly with this item. Note that this part does not include the timer knob. Installing the timer will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Helpful Tip: Pull the tab at the backside of the timer to release the knob.
