The Range Temperature Control Thermostat establishes and maintains the internal temperature of the oven cavity. If your oven temperature isn’t regulating, replacing the thermostat may alleviate the issue. To access the part, you’ll remove the top panel of the range, the racks inside the range and the oven door. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the range and novice repair experience. You must unplug the range or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part Also be sure to shut of the gas valve if applicable.
